I've learned on here (from others) about about fire so I suggest having a fire extinguisher. Being that I spent 24 years in the military, I believe its a staple for the vehicle.
This is a good reminder for me, as the wife and daughters gall ot new cars and I haven't replaced the ones in their cars.
P.S. Make sure you neutralize and rinse off the battery acid.
