Put things in perspective. I got out of the Army in 1969. My first job paid $375.00 per month gross. In September 1971, I bought a new Plymouth Roadrunner (P.O.S.) for $3200.00 and they allowed me $1200.00 for my 68 Mustang GT (P.O.S.). Times have changed, huh? Bought my first house in 1974 for less than I paid for my land alone in 1994.
