I started mocking up my switch hinges this weekend and the firewall protrusion doesn't allow the bracket to sit low enough to line up with the holes on the hinge assembly.

On the inside of each bracket I had to give it a tap downward to make a slight dent in the protrusion to allow it to sit flush in there.
