saturday, I was able to move the beast (idled without dying), and was able to put it to the far side of the driveway, so I could access my garage again (get the Firebird out)...

got the seat out yesterday, in preparation for a new fuel tank. Need to remove the speakers and 2 amps previous owner had put under the seats.

also "repaired", and I use the term very lightly, the drivers side rocker. it was replaced long ago, and was just riveted in it looks like. I just have 3 screws in it now to hold it in place, until I get a little more metal behind it for the short term.

it would appear that the top of the cab is about 6-7 inches taller than my 4x4 Yukon 1500.
