Are you gluing the gasket to the pan or putting it on dry?
I haven’t done a trans but have done an aluminum pan on a sb.
Glued the cork/rubber gasket on with form a gasket, put it gasket side down on a flat table with a pile of books on it and let it cure overnight.
Installed with a light smear of grease on the dry part of the gasket and a little dab on each bolt.
Never leaked a drop.
Your torque pattern is something to consider too.
Aluminum doesn’t flex and bend like a stock pan does.
You could do the 4 corner pattern rotating 1/2 a rotation.
