I wouldn't think it would affect the value because you don't modify anything other than moving the engine forward. The frame actually has the holes to do this so as far as I can tell there is no drilling. I was considering the swap but I have a rebuilt th350 and don't do much highway driving so I wasn't as concerned. Also have 3.08 gears so 65 isn't that bad.
