The distributor was calibrated to 24 degrees at 3000 RPM per the build specs and for street applications. I set full timing at 36 not accounting for this spec. Do I need to offset the timing for this spec or is 36 degrees 36 degrees regardless. It does idle on or “diesel” sometimes too. I’ve tried looking at the wires under dark but will try again with some help and get an underneath view since they’re so tight.
