Re: What's my burb going to be worth?

I guess I will be the optimist. I would say, with a little detail work under the hood and a paint job (inside and out), you could easily get $25k on a national platform like ebay. It looks like there is a lot there to work with. And, in my opinion... in the old Suburban market you are gonna find the right guy. You've done the hard work.

Mine is a similar theme, but 5.7 Vortec on a 2wd modern chassis and I wouldn't take a penny less than 25k (on a bad day). But, since I drive mine everyday and cant say a single bad word about it, I would be willing to hold out for something around 35.

So, basically it isn't for sale.

I would think that in it's current state, you would have bidders on ebay lining up at $10k. With a little detailing to the engine bay (radiator, master cylinder, inner fenders), you could probably get it into the $12-13k range. Next to that modern powerplant, that radiator is lookin pretty rough.

Just my thoughts. I wish you the best, because I get excited everytime I see one jump into the 20's. That is one awesome Burb.

I would keep it. They are a unique breed.
