put a new Accel distributor in lastnight, double checked top dead center, and the starter went out. pulled the starter, looked at the flex plate and it has wear on the teeth but i was hoping it would still be good. installed new starter and ....... NO. now i need to change the flex plate.
But while cleaning i did find the original manuals from 1972.
