They just look large to me. I've had my 67 forever, drove a 00Z71 for 11 years, and now have a 2015, the seats just look a lot bigger to me (fatter).

If you go with a katzkin kit (highly recommended) you can actually make the seats look a lot better in these old trucks by leaving the headrests off, you can remove the plastic clip for them and not cut the hole in the covers at the top.

A C10 would look fantastic with leather seats.
