Sounds like it was fun! I sold my '93 ext. cab in January, but it had the factory 4.3L. I've always liked the 1st Gen. S-10's. I had an '88 2-door S-10 Blazer as well. Either of the ones I had would've been killer with a small block. I got back into a fullsize SUV planning for the future. I hear you about building another one for your son. Maybe you could go more mild and be okay. I don't have kids right now, but it would be cool to build another one in the future to give to him/her. Of course, they'll be really antique by then!
