Looks about my favorite size, about a 7'1"-7'3" spear. Is it a pintail? From starting surfing in the '60s long boards to me are the logs they started off on, like 8'+ and when boards like your other one came out we called them short boards
. When those came out is when surfing style got all hyper trying to squeeze as many moves out of a wave as they could, cutting back into the wave several times. I like the graceful long flowing turns, just taking what the wave has to offer. A lot depends on the size of the waves. The Easy Coast guys loved the short board on the small waves with lower power. They'd milk all they could out of that mush.
