...along with some others from the '50's. FoMoCo cars had the filler like that in '52. But, A-bodies and F-bodies had the tanks and fillers like that. 1st gen Mustangs used the top of the gas tank for the floor of the trunk, unlike Camaro/Nova, etc. But, the filler of the GM tanks are more horizontal than the FoMoCo vehicle gas tanks, which use a rubber hose-type connector to join the gas tank to the filler pipe.
