thanks nut. I have a fair amount of project management in my work history, seems less and less likely I am going to pay a contractor 10-15% to do what I end up doing anyway.
doug I cut with a straightedge, actually just a big piece of 1x1 rectangle tube. I finalized the patterns on the last truck, and made them 1" taller for this truck, which has saved just so many problems.
I havent done anything lately but screw up haha. I sold some parts I had kicking around and managed to ruin a few taking them off. this morning I broke a die cast piece that was actually sold, saw 75% of the value evaporate haha.
I did lay some paint on the hood to blend it. remember that I still will steel wool it and make the rusted parts smoother and make the painted parts feather on the edge.
