Yeah I know what your talking about now. I would like something a little nicer looking though. Maybe I don't need it though. I'm running an electric fuel pump with a inline filter before it, and the carb has a filter in it. What do you think?
Well actually, I do run one of those glass filters but with an old school perforated micarta element in it just before the [mech] fuel pump. My 500 CFM Edelbrock 1404 [AFB clone] has no internal filter, so I like the GF-11, just before the carb. Also the Fram type is 4"x 1.5" but the internal filter is about 3/4" x 1/2". Bigger is better when catching FOD.
Jegs and Summit have a selection of racing high flow fuel filters, billet milled body and replaceable element. May be what you're looking for.
