I ordered one of these and painted it and it does not work. the description states it will work with 03-09 suv/truck pedals. however my 2006 suburban pedal is all wrong for this. it doesn't even come close to fitting.... even if i redrill new holes, the overall shape of the pedal and arm are such that it will not allow movement of the pedal. So i went on rockauto and i see that many other suv pedals look exactly like mine. And heres the bad part. Even if i am able to source an earlier model pedal, say one from 2004 (which according to rock auto pics is the one i need) won't i also need the throttle actuator control module thing also? it looks like my pedal and TAC control have different connectors from other pedals. Is there any other workaround? Looks like these have been sold for about 6 years. Why is it that I am having this issue just now? My bad luck? or what?
