Re: Which GM crate engine would you buy?

The HT383 was advertised in a truck mag when it first hit the market and was advertised for $1900 through one of the performance parts dealers I saw it in a summit under new products and they wanted almost $3k my dads work is a GMPPP dealer I will check with him on an excact price for the motor, I'll post it in a thread in a couple of days. Its and awsome motor and I would like two of them one for the 68 and 97. The add says no need for cpu reprogramming either it will ajust to the motor with no problems for you guys that have a 96-99, not sure on tbi models since they dont use a mass air flow sensor. None the less a good carb on this thing and you got plenty of power for the street with good reliabilty and drivability.
