Re: '72 Project Deplorable

Finally got the wet sanding done and the minor imperfections glazed over so she was ready for paint by Friday. The painter was coming by Saturday so as usual, I couldn't leave well enough alone and hurried up to yank the motor and gut the driver's side of the firewall. I justified it in my mind because I need a shift kit in the tranny, want to wrap the headers, and kinda wanted to paint the motor anyway so there... It had to be pulled. Convinced? lol... At least now I'll sleep at night knowing there's paint everywhere I want it on that firewall and nothing was taped around after all the work I put into it.

It's funny how much mopping it takes to clean up a wet sanding mess to get ready for shooting paint. SMH... I don't even mop at home. The things we do for trucks...
