It does have a slightly rich idle that's almost impossible to tune out due to the overlap, so it's a compromise. It still tends to load up when sitting in traffic for long periods which can be cured with a couple neutral revs. But, it works well with my 2800 stall converter, and it's designed to run hard.
Yeah, it has a healthy chop!!
