Check the inner bed panels for sets of little dimples in the metal where the stand offs should be screwed to the bed. Maybe I am remembering wrong, but I seem to think they were there when I put them on my 71 (which I no longer have). I can't look on my 69 because it still is in paint jail. You can make your own angle brackets out of 3/4" by 3/4" or 1' by 1" thin steel or aluminum angle. Seems to me there were a couple vertical pieces front and rear (maybe the front just screwed to the vertical post and two pieces on the floor front and rear - but again it has been several years since I did the 71. I posted a couple of photos from when I did my 71 - you can see where the trim screws are screwed into the stand offs on the inner bed and angles including the floor mounted angles.
