I cut a 67-72 era auto-tilt column down to length for my 64's set-up. I believe I took 6.25" off the shaft & 4" off the housing.

I cut one down vs guessing on the length to allow just the 2-joint set-up since the Ididit columns had such a hefty price tag & lead time (for delivery; not taking your $$).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
