I haven't reached out to the Harre family, but did send some pics to the gentleman I got it from after it was back on the road. I think he regrets letting it go.
That's interesting. I would try to contact the Harre family just for kicks. If you do, please post back on the outcome.

Over the years we went back and forth about who had the best truck, talk about trips taken, loads we hauled, etc. My buddy willed me his truck! It's had a couple of re-paints and two engines during it's life. Runs perfect! In his honor, I'm leaving it just the way it is. I did have his obituary laminated and put it in place of the build sheet behind the seat springs".

We still swing by his sisters a couple of times a month to visit. She loves seeing the truck. She gets teary eyed when she hears it coming up the hill, as it reminds her of her brother. I was showing off the new seat one day, when she ran into the house and came out with a picture of his pet goat Daisy and his dog riding shotgun in the truck! She said don't let a goat on that new seat!
Isn't it great to make someones day like that. Put the dog in the front and goat in the back....
