I missd this thread until now. I love your '59 just the way you have it. I've had a few but it's been years. My first car and first restoration was a '56 I had from '71-'81. I gave it to my dad to use with the agreement that I got first dibs when he got rid of it. He let my sister start diving it, she meets a guy she marries, and he has her sell it because it wasn't safe. Put her in a lifted CJ5
. I think there was some macho BS going on there. Anyway, it was bought by someone who took it back to Germany. No chance of getting my 1st love back, but still pretty neat.
