Some dealers used a cable instead of a chain...wrapped it around the Dvrs exhaust amnifold, and down to the upper A arm on the drivers side. This is also why they went to the throttle cable instead of the rod on the 70 and older.
This was in the glove box of my first longhorn along wiotht e protecto-plate and owners manual and the window sticker...ect.
