I have been told by some that my 53 3100 is no longer a Chevy. Maybe they are right. In my entire drive train from radiator to lug nuts the only thing GM made is the 292 cast iron block. The entire front end other than the steering box is aftermarket. I'm keeping and boxing the frame rails. The cab and body panels will be stock with the exception of widening the rear fenders 2". So I still get to call it a Chevy?
