It doesn't have the step on the edge like it should have. I'll post back about how well the strips fit up when I test fit everthing. I'm sure it will work, might take a little more work to line everything up before the bolts are tightened down though. The correct extra grooves let the edge of the wear strips drop down and lock in place.
