Nice. You are starting with a beautiful truck. I'll be following along. Been thinking about 2wd conversion with mine as well.
On a totally unrelated note, my mom lives in Lubbock. Grew up in Muleshoe. There are lots of nice rust free trucks out in that general area.
Make sure to take lots of pics of the conversion process, it'll make my life easier!
