It is a direct bolt in, from the firewall to the pedal! Even the lines fit. This is a strong unit, with a light "touch" on the pedal. I usually recommend it for 3/4T, 1T & all 4x4s (even 1/2T 4x4s with bigger wheels & tires.
For your 1/2T 2wd, you might also consider my 9" dual diaphram system. It is about 30% stronger than the factory original and less money than this 3/4T set.
