They do make a little noise for the first 200-300 miles but then quiet down. The stock stuff on those Tahoes is so junky anything would seem great though. As far as improved braking, I cannot tell any difference but there is little to no brake dust.

as far as drilled slotted rotors go and new calipers along with pads, the biggest differance over stock that you will see is how they perform at a track or tripple digit speeds
