'67s were a big hit when they came out. They sold a whole lot of them to people who never had trucks before. Although there had been deluxe options offered for many years and from the mid-50s through the 60s they got more and more appearance, convenience, and comfort options, '67 brought on a whole new world with the Custom Sport Truck. The high level of interest in these trucks today is a thing that began the day these trucks were first shown to the public. I was a kid in the '60s and loved the GM Trucks. I loved all brands. Then came the '67s like a whole new thing. The Camaro had also come out and they both shared that rounded angled look that closed in on the grille in a boxy '60s world. They were so sleek yet no less a truck.
