Cam is gonna have less to do with it on a boosted setup. More stall means more "slip" i.e. more time/rpm while on the footbrake. This means you can affect how much boost is being built off the line, relative to where your turbo spools.

FWIW, there are people out there that run stock 4l80e converters (~1800rpm) on boosted motors and claim its ideal. Most of the stuff I see runs the 32-3600rpm range for turbo or P1/D1 cars. There's a certain amount of balance between turbo size, stall speed, and spool time/boost pressure.
