new deck, but wires are everywhere! HELP!

I know i could post this in the electrical forums which i will becuase i need help pretty fast haha.. i just bought a new deck for my suburban and the jack knob that owned it before me did some weird things to the wires back there.. it has an aftermarket deck arleady and the plug works in my new one but now i have the issue of not getting radio signal and then have a big issue of having wires all over the place, i want a clean area back there. easy right? noooo, i took out the old deck and the wires arent color coded anymore, there are two wires going into one and most are the same color, so i was wondering if the speaker wires matter if they are hooked up to the right speakers or not .. and if so how do i know which wire is for what!? uggh please help ASAP! i want this new deck in! haha ill post a picture in a bit.. thanks guys!
