Gas ?

I got a fuel cell from summit and have it in , so i just need to run the line. My question is there are two pickups for fuel on the bottom of the tank so ill just use one but there is a vent valve on top of the tank. it says it has a valve in the cap that displaces gas with air so can i just plug the vent hole and have the one line for fuel.

Thanks

Can you post a picture of this set-up? Might be able to help if I could see the various vents/openings.

Yes, if you have a vented cap then you do not need a vented tank. I change to a non-vented cap then make sure you open the vent on the tank and run some tubing from the vent and up to a higher location.

old gas tank

Hi,

Just wondering I need a driver's side gas tank for my truck and was wondering if you were getting rid of yours now that you're putting on a fuel cell and if so where are you and how much are you willing to sell it for?

thanks,

vince.

I wonder if he is referring to a dual saddle tank set-up and he is looking for the drivers side tank.
