Re: tweaked frame 75 c10 (HELP!!!)

Just take it to a frame shop for a true check & tweek...unless you don't really need it (plan to drive off road or fast trails) or have the inclination and way to accurately measure & tweek it yourself, most garage floors are 1" out so unless you have access to a frame plate or known true floor...

If you are planning on taking everything apart anyway its probably cheaper to get another frame. I know most frame shops around here won't touch it for less than $500.

Basicly they strap it down and pull it back straight,They have a book of alignment points for every car and truck they pull it back to those specs its good as new.

Re: tweaked frame 75 c10 (HELP!!!)

Is your truck totally torn down, bare frame on the floor? If not, probably not the chassis unless its been wrecked. I have seen TONS of these trucks with a lean to them. Usually unevenly arched leaf springs. Also, if a front coil is weak and sagging, the rerar will reflect that as well by looking out of wack.

It's a good call on that, never thought it could be something so simple. I'm gonna take it to bare frame and check from there this weekend. That's for heads up on that.

I second the springs for sure. Check my old posts for my rear spring build and you well see how bad really are.
