Anyone have a genuine original factory assembly manual?

Howdy people,

I purchased a factory assembly manual reprint from gmcpauls and, while it has all the info about our trucks, like the original, it does not have any index or table of contents. In the original manual, they put tabs on certain pages to split it into sections. I was wondering it anyone had an original with the tabs still in place and could upload some low quality pictures of the pages the tabs are on and what the tabs say to split the book up so i can simplify navigating through it. Thanks!

yeah, the guy at gmcpaul's said the originals had tabs added to certain sheets to break it into sections. I was just wondering because i got the manual and started thumbing through it and found it wasn't really divided intuitively. Turns out it starts with 67 and as things changed and options were added they just added a page to the back.

cdowns, as far as whining about finding things in it, hey, maybe you were born under a lucky star. I still can't find sheets c4.5 and c4.6 and have no idea what area to look in. For the rest of us, an index or breakup is a great thing so we can reference more things faster. Not sure what your goals in life are, but wasting time looking for pages that may or may not be of use is somewhat unproductive. I have a several thousand page manual for my 86 regal and they split that into sections. Still hard to navigate, but at least you know where to start. Cheers.

gcburdic, thanks for the link, this may be just what i need!

The assembly manual has a lot of great info.....if you can find it. It is like going on a quest.
