Blazer or bronco extended pickup?

I saw a purple XXXL suburban that was on a stretched frame with a pickup box behind it, wheel wells filled on the burb body and looked like a mega mega cab pickup in the "let's see some 4x4 burbs and blazers" thread. Has anyone seen any pictures of this same thing done with a blazer body or a bronco body? I looked at some numbers and found that a blazer has a length of 184 inches and a crew cab long bed truck has a length of 257 inches, which is a full 6' 1" longer, enough for a custom 6' bed to still fit on the back without modifying the frame. Seems more practical and easier than what they did with the burb, and it would be pretty cool to take the top off the blazer body. Anyone able to photoshop this or find a pic?

Re: Blazer or bronco extended pickup?

heres a picture of the burben, basically Im tossing around the idea of this without the 2nd set of doors, so about 3 feet shorter, and the removable top of a blazer. I was thinking about using a 99-02 F350 CCLB 7.3 as a doner chassis IF i were to go about trying this.

Dunno. Hard to do this sort of thing without the vehicle ending up ungainly-looking....

Re: Blazer or bronco extended pickup?

I bought this truck from the original owner. He had the sleeper installed in '79. Probably the cheapest way to acheive what you are looking for...
