Post Lower windshield paint question

We are painting the truck this week and the painter put the medium olive all around the windshield even though I told him to put the body color on the bottom. Can anyone tell me if the window seal will fully cover the medium olive or should I have him paint it the Dark olive body color? Thanks

I would have him paint it the Dark olive body color.
The cut line is like this http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/GMTru...ion-05_jpg.htm or pick #24 on that page.

Re: Lower windshield paint question

Thanks Trueman. I hate to ask, but when you look between the cowl and the windshield seal, can you see the dark paint? I have a feeling the rubber covers the gap, but am not positive.

Re: Lower windshield paint question

Yes there is 3/8 of a inch below of cab in view between the W/W gasket and the rear most point of the cowl.
when I looked at mine just now.
I remember going over this with my painter when I had my truck in paint.

Re: Lower windshield paint question

Thanks so much. I will bring the truck back tomorrow to get it fixed. I'll post pics when done. I hope I can repay the favor.
