Any 8 or 8.5 standard offset wheel would work. I also had 10" with narrow housing and same tires with 7" drop on both trucks.

Mind giving the specs on the orange truck ... tire and wheel size front and rear. Also what drop do you have and how did you do it?

Excellent proportions on that ride. Id like to stick the picture with the info in my 67-72 truck folder ... thanks!

Re: 285 70 15 BF Goodrich silvertown tires

Orange truck at the time had 8.5 wheels on all 4 corners, but now has 7" on front(tires hit inner fender). Front drop is ece 2.5 spindle/2" spring. Rear is ece 6" spring/1" block. Can't really tell by looking with 7" on front but lot safer driving. 285/70/15 rear tire. 235/70/15 front tire. Wheels are American torque thrust d.

Amen Brother! The blue step side looks great too. I would actually love to have a short step side box and fenders if one locally ever pops up. Right now we are starting to collect parts for several trucks. Several of my friends and family have decided they want to put together some 67-72 trucks (that's why Im getting all the parts lately).

Drop: 4.5" front (CCP 2.5 spindles + CCP 2" drop springs), 5.75" rear (CCP 4" drop springs + 1.75" block/plate)
Wheels: TTII 15x8 w/3.8BS rear, 15x7 w/3.78BS front.
Tires: BFG 275/60R15 Rear, BFG 235/70R15 Front (Both 28" tall)
I went with 275/60 in rear because 295/50 are not readily available. Went with 235/70 in the front to give me additional LCA ground clearance.

I don't have any pictures to share, but my 69 SWB stepside has 285/70/15 rear and 235/70/15 front. tires are mounted on stock 73-87 style 6 lug G.M. wheels with dog dish hubcaps. front suspension has 1.5 coils cut off the stock springs. rear has 6" drop springs with a 1" lowering block.

Your truck is lowered 1.5/7? Do you have a way to show pictures?

Re: 285 70 15 BF Goodrich silvertown tires

My truck is lowered approximately 5" in the front. This was accomplished by cutting 1.5 coils off the stock front coil springs.

Do the Silvertown treads match the BFGoodrich pattern?

Sorry, read that wrong, as 1.5" not 1.5 coils... Gotcha!
