finished up my new license plates

Can't seem to find the before photos. But they were rough, not much paint and a few wrinkles. Lot of work and painting, but they came out nice

Re: finished up my new license plates

Cool plates Tommy.
I found a '69- '72 bright Yellow Arizona plate in my collection. I took it down to the MVD and $12 later it was legal to use.
Semper Fi.

Re: finished up my new license plates

One time, Hmmm? I had just paid $21 and passed emissions on the 3rd try and had a current year sticker on the conventional maroon plate. But by getting a collector car policy with Hagerty and the vintage plate, I won't have to run thru smog checks again.

Re: finished up my new license plates

Inspection is due yearly, but plates are good, nothing to renew after the one time fee

Old plates are hard to come by. I did find a 1917 Missouri plate that I want...little pricey though. I also have a good set of 72 Missouri car tags, garage hangers right now

Re: finished up my new license plates

I have several. I was collecting since high school, but not avidly. Many are from the 67/72 period. I should shoot pix and post them in the For Sale area, as they're extra parts I won't need and some members might really want them.

Not a bad idea, that's what I'm gonna do with the car plates whenever I pay my fee again
