Replacement windshields

Ok, now its time for a new windshield. Ive watched the videos and sort of helped a friend do his---and Ive ordered the precision gasket.
So, now comes the question; Is there a preferred windshield? Or is there one supplier who has the best quality glass? Ive heard that some glass suppliers use a thinner windshield--which promotes a poor seal.

I think there are only 2 or 3 manufacturers. I have used the thinner replacement windshields on the last 3 trucks I have replaced the glass in, with no problems. They cost me $90 each...

Re: Replacement windshields

I've heard of one company that makes the thicker windshield. It's supposed to be the same as O.E.M. I believe it's called Pilkington or Pinkerton or something like that. I know Wes at Classic heartbeat sells them, but I don't think he'll ship them, he can at least let you know the right name and where to get them.
Good luck,
Curtis
