Nice...love the steering wheel. You have plenty of time to finish it...just drive and enjoy.

Re: new pics of my 68

Yeah I'm not in a big rush......

I'm probably not going to get really cranking on the body till summer......

I like the wheel too....its a"keeper" as soon as I know I won't be driving it for a couple days I plan to hit it with some stain and some varnish

I like your truck. I had the side window visors on my '71. I like to fix the safety stuff first too, that way you can drive it as you work on it...

I agree the steering wheel is some nice icing on the cake! Taking time to deal with the mechanical safety issues now is going to save you a lot of time in the future. Restore on the move! Nice truck.

Re: new pics of my 68

Thanks for the comments guys.....

Sorry sickla....it might come down a bit.....nothing radical tho and I like the F/R rake so I'm thinking 2" all the way around

Good to see some local guys on the board as well......

Next step is to find a rear with some decent gearing to swap in.....I'll probably go with a newer rear and one of the coil conversions sold by various venders....

I'm keeping my 8 luggers tho.....I have P/S already and since the plan is more weekend cruiser than work truck disks aren't really needed so I won't have to convert anything in the front.....
