Lower Inner Door Patch

Who’s had experience and can suggest a good lower inner door patch panel for my 68 chevy truck? I’ve been buying AMD but this part has some bad reviews. What brand has anybody had good luck with?

Key Parts is what i used. They were nice when I used them, but they now have the more accurate ones that have the raised parts at each corner. They didn't used to have the raised part.

I bought a set of those from that same ebayer. What he shipped me looked nothing like the picture. I sent them back. I called Jegs who also sell Key Parts and he said more than likely the part would not look like the picture.

Re: Lower Inner Door Patch

I have used the NEW KeyParts stampings, they are worth every penny. Modification is still needed, but should be expected on any sheet metal work. But I agree, those old door stampings werent worth a penny.

This is my thread, where I began work on the door, its scattered through the thread but youll see me work on them intermittently and finish the passenger side.

Go on eBay and find KeyParts account, they ship from VA. Find the parts, message and confirm they will be correct on arrival and you'll be set. KeyParts has been very helpful to me.

It's my understanding that seller I linked is actually Key Parts.

Are you sure it's the same seller? I can't imagine(or maybe I could) eBay letting someone use the user name of KeyPartsInc if they were not associated with Key Parts Inc. ?
