Hood Hinge Options for Bagged/Slammed?

Curious what guys or gals are using for hood hinges aside from your standard $400+ cowl mount options? I need to trim my fenders for tire clearance and will be losing my stock hinges in the process. I know about Porterbuilt etc cowl mounts but was wondering if there was a more budget friendly option or an oem option that works well. I am curious if anyone has tried fox body Mustang cowl mounted hood hinges?

I am not sure what you are replacing your wheel well with, Slosh Tubs or similar, but I made my own set of hinges from the stock set just put new custom billet hinges on the original brackets. Dressed them up pretty nicely and did not cost much to do. Of course there is a fair amount of fabrication in them but I saved about $700, and they open about 6" further than stock and about 12" more than PB cowl hinges.
