A couple of ?'s

The connection on the windshield for the stereo antenna came off. Is there any way to reconnect it. Next, I want to put a dual exhaust on my 87 Burb. Will there be a problem if I eliminate the cat converter. I run truck plates so I don't need emmissions tested. Just wondering if it would affect the truck mechanically by eliminating it? And last, does anyone use wheel spacers in the rear? And if so, any problems?

Re: A couple of ?'s

in regards to the cat..... it will let the motor breath with less restriction. with ouut the cat it will be much louder than if you had duals and a cat. if your not running any mufflers then you will loose some back pressure and potentaly some low end power. however as long as your piles are long there will be no harm to the motor. any ideas on mufflers and pipe size? flowmaster super40's sound great in my opinon. as do two chambers but two chambers have more in side drone

Windshield..not sure..if it broke the wires off from the glass you are probably have no chance. The replacement windshield would have it. You'd have to ask the glass shop.

Dual exhaust is no issue. Can be done as was done on mine.
IF you want to retain the emission controls components and ECM (I'm assuming this is fuel injected TBI) you can run 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" through a good flowing muffler on each side and out the back sides. If you have AIR you will need to port that to the headers or get rid of it. I left mine in. No other "mechanical" issue I could think of.

Wheel spacers - not me. Sorry.

Peace
