Mark, you were right, its where the jack spring goes. Sorry the pic is a little blurry. It is held on with what looks like a philips-headed carriage bolt.


cant wait til you get the truck done, I want to see it all put together!

Thanks. Wish I would have had the bolt in place when it was painted. Guess I will just put a stainless bolt in there - won't be using the spring thing even though I still have it.

Truck is slowly getting there. Trying to figure out the transfer case right now, the body lift is enough that it is hitting the tranny hump when you try to put it into 2 high. Will get it figured out.
