Your favorite S/10 S/15 Luv, or Blazer.

This is mine. I drove a 92 for years as a company truck 4X4, 4.3 what a great truck. But it wasn't mine. It was the company's. I should have bought one. Woulda shoulda coulda. You know the drill.

My buddy had a nice Luv with a SBC in it. He loaned it to his crazy brother in law. A tree jumped in front of it

I also had a girlfriend with a lowered 2wd Blazer. It was sharp and I must say that she looked pretty dang good in it.

They were all great but I have to say. This is the one that got me. My old truck that wasn't mine.

The one I still have since purchached new in Scottsdale, Az. Fun to zip around in. 60k miles.
Drove a '90 S-10 single cab at work for a bit, but at 6'3", very cramped and requested a full size.

That's a beautiful truck. Looks sharp. I'm six foot tall and drove regular cabs for years and then got an extended cab. Once I got the ext cab then the regular one felt terribly cramped to me. It's funny that in all those years that I never noticed it before.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but I had an 86 S10 Blazer 4x4. Originally a 2.8 carbureted, I swapped in a MPFI 3.1 from a 92 Firebird. 2 inch cowl hood, 8 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift and 35 inch tires.

Here is my 2000 S10 Xtreme. Not very many miles on it since I only travel 1/8th mile at a time. It's fun to drive as long as you are going straight. The SBC puts out a little more than 650hp and shifts at 6800rpm.

Re: Your favorite S/10 S/15 Luv, or Blazer.

I worked at a Chevy dealership in the summer of 85 prepping new cars for delivery to buyers. They had a new 4x4 that had me wanting it badly. Unfortunately, I had no money.

Re: Your favorite S/10 S/15 Luv, or Blazer.

Here's my 91 4.3 700R4. Bought it in 2001 for $1700 with 79k miles lowered it, swapped the Bravada grille on to it and painted it. Now it has 199k on it and needs painted again.

Re: Your favorite S/10 S/15 Luv, or Blazer.

Have you had to do anything major to your 4.3?

While knocking loudly on wood he says. No. And it still scratches one wheel on the 1-2 shift.
