Fuel Tank Selector Switch Differences
The 84 K10 in my signature has a TBI 350. When my son bought it I was told that the cheap tank selector switch did not work. The switch will not engage the right (passenger) tank.
Based on my research the 84 would use the “D7003” switch and the 87+ TBI trucks would use the “D7089c”. What is the differences in these switches?

Re: Fuel Tank Selector Switch Differences
I had the same question awhile back. Looking at the classic truck catalog pictures one is a one piece and one is a switch with a separate bezel. That's all I could find out. I bought the one piece when it arrived it was in a Standerd box brand, It does not look very strong. I have figured out the wiring of it from trial and error. Maybe someone will respond with some more info.
