Overhead console wiring help needed

I'm getting ready to mount an overhead console in my '67 burb. I was planning on including a couple of gauges and some extra dome lighting. With an earlier brief look, it seemed like an easy wiring path down the inside of the driver's A-pillar. A closer, more current look shows this to be more difficult (stock wires exit through a small grommet in a dash support bracket). Anyone that's done extra overhead wiring have any tips on how to get the job done? Less importantly but still would be nice, was thinking of including a vacuum gauge as one of the gauges. I wanted to run steel vacuum tube for longevity, but getting this through seems impossible. Any further thoughts with this? Thanks for the help!
