MY Project GMC 1969

Hello
how are you all ?

I will make a new project, a change the Fleetsid to STEPSIDE MY GMC PICKUP 2500 / 1969 / 350 As is common in the Middle East Everyone here loves this kind of truck Especially in the Arabian Gulf .

At first it is harder to get STEPSIDE It is an expensive process It takes a lot of time, effort, money and research as well . To get them I have been looking at Saudi Arabia and I am from Kuwait So there are customs and shipping. In America I think it is very easy and many opportunities.

I will post the photos on this subject continuously until the project ends.

I found STEPSIDE 1967 It needs a lot of work but that's the best

You are assembling a nice collection of GM trucks. I can admire that. I would have more than one if I could too.

Re: MY Project GMC 1969

Your donor bed looks a lot like my Stepside, same original Orange color, except one that was owned by a crazy Moroccan welder. Good luck on your stepside project.

Re: MY Project GMC 1969

Stepsides were bought for function, much easier to work with, most bought by government agencies, utilities, fleets etc. Most had a hard life of work. They are harder to find than fleetsides, even in the US. Should have bid on this one at an auction in the early 80's, oh well, another opportunity missed. Spare on fender was an option. Are you going to leave the moldings on cab? Good luck with conversion!

Re: MY Project GMC 1969

Nice work on those bed sides.

I'm a step fan short, long, extra long. Its all good.

Nothing screams classic truck like a step side.

Im slowly doing the same on my k20.
Slowly removing the absolutly whooped fleetside box and throwing together a 8' step side bed i have laying around.

4x4's look great with step beds on them.
