Adding transmission cooler, how are yall mounting them?
Have a Hayden 679 transmission cooler. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/h...stionsanswers/
Looks like my best bet mounting it will be to use the two small screws holding the condenser in place (will have to drill one hole in the mounting plate on the new cooler), but how do I support the other end? Are yall running these things ziptied to the condenser or fabbing up a mounting plate for the other end of the cooler? I'm worried about the cooler rubbing/vibrating against the condenser, eventually causing a leak in one or the other. |

something like this, with a piece of rubber between may work...i personally prefer to make a bracket or mount back to the core support. |

Re: Adding transmission cooler, how are yall mounting them?
I just run the factory set-up. But on trucks I added an aftermarket cooler, such as my '72, I make brackets to hold it out in front so the other components can get their air.I'd think one would heat soak the other if fastened to one another.
